Group Workshops by Pahinga Studio

We started Pahinga on a simple idea: that rest is productive, not a reward you earn after you've run yourself down.

Our group workshops are that idea made tangible. They're a way to gather your people, your team, your friends, your family, and spend an afternoon making something beautiful and slow, right in the middle of a fast city.

We host two signature experiences you can book as a group: candle making and perfume making which can be done at our studio in Jupiter St. Makati or at your own space.

Here's what each one is like.

Candle Making

Our candle-making workshop is where most people fall in love with the studio. You'll learn the craft the way we do it — pouring soy wax, choosing from our library of fragrance oils, and blending a scent that feels like you (or like the mood you want to come home to).

We guide you through the whole process: understanding scent families, layering top and base notes, and the small technical details that separate a candle that burns beautifully from one that tunnels and smokes. By the end, everyone leaves with a hand-poured candle they made themselves, plus the quiet confidence of having learned a real skill.

It's tactile, forgiving, and genuinely fun. Even the most self-declared "non-crafty" person in the group tends to surprise themselves.

Perfume Making

If candle making is about scenting a space, perfume making is about scenting yourself — and it's a wonderfully intimate thing to do as a group.

In this workshop, we walk you through the architecture of a fragrance: the bright top notes you smell first, the heart notes that define the character, and the base notes that linger. You'll experiment, blend, and refine until you've built a personal scent that's entirely your own — no two people in the room ever leave with the same bottle.

There's something a little magical about watching a group discover how differently everyone's noses work, and how much of a memory a single scent can unlock. It sparks the kind of conversation you don't get over a boardroom lunch.
